What do I need to rent a car?
When hiring a car all you’ll need is a debit or credit card to make the booking.
What do I need when I pick the car up?
When you pick up your car you’ll need to bring the voucher or e-voucher to show you’ve booked and paid for the car, the main driver’s debit or credit card with enough money available to pay for the deposit, the full driving license of all drivers which they’ve held for at least 12 months (but can often be 24) and your passport or any other ID the company might need.
Is there an age limit when hiring a car?
Most car hire companies hire cars out to drivers between the ages of 21 and 70 years old. However, if you’re under 25 or over the age of 70 you may have to pay an additional fee to hire a car.
Are all fees included in the price?
The majority of bookings that are made at Rentalcars.com will have all of the fees included in the price. You’ll be able to pay for any optional extras when you pick up your car.

Can I manage my booking?
Yes, you can. You can manage your booking either on Rentalcars.com or on their app. You can manage your booking on the website by signing in to your account, heading to the ‘Car rentals’ page and clicking ‘Manage booking’ located at the top of the page. You can find your booking on the app by tapping ‘Bookings’ at the bottom of the screen.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can. If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before your rental is due to start then you’ll be able to receive a full refund. If you cancel within 48 hours or at the rental counter you’ll receive e a refund of the cost of your rental minus the cost of 3 days of your rental. So rentals for less than 3 days won’t be refunded. Finally, if you cancel after your rental is due to start you won’t receive any refund.
